Our Grapefruit Honey +Vodka … minus Vodka

Broiled grapefruit drizzled with honey and dusted with cinnamon.

This simple recipe makes a deliciously warm, juicy (and healthy!) dish perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Broiled Grapefruit with Honey and Cinnamon

Ingredients

1 Grapefruit, pink or ruby

Honey, for drizzling

Cinnamon, for sprinkling

Preparation

  1. Cut grapefruit in half. With a paring knife, cut the sections away from the surrounding membrane and pith. This will make it easier to spoon them up later.

  2. On each grapefruit half, drizzle honey and sprinkle cinnamon to your liking.

  3. Broil grapefruit until bubbling and lightly browned in spots, 2 to 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm.
